Venus is hot
Pluto is cold
But Mercury
Is both
These extremes
Are getting old
Too hot or cold
Where's the middle
It’s been a fight to regain life
But terraforming is not easy
Maybe then I have to leave
To find a place that’s healthy
I recall a day when all
These temperatures were stable
But atmospheres disappeared
And self-control as well
Is it me that needs changing
Or is it my surroundings
Disease enters externally
Then putrifies internally
